Deacon Michael Lane

Deacon Michael was born in Minneapolis and grew up in Brooklyn Park attending St. Alphonsus. Oldest of five children. Married in 1983 and has three children, a daughter and two sons. Deacon Michael lost his wife to cancer in 2013 and entered formation to become a Permanent Deacon. Ordained in 2021, Deacon Michael is assigned to Lumen Christi Catholic Community in St. Paul’s Highland Park Neighborhood. His home parish is Holy Spirit in St. Paul. He is overjoyed at being a first time Grandfather and is excited to be the Liturgy Ministry Coordinator for St. Stephen’s.
